When your blog or website becomes more popular, your great contents may be copied by someone. It could be done by nice guys or spam blogs around the web. But anyway, you should protect your hard work from the copying no matter who’s copying by adding a Copyright Link which link back to your site. It also drives more traffic to your site. That’s great, isn’t it.
There are two ways to protect your contents which are displayed more detail below, I suggest you apply both for a better protection.
Using tynt publisher tools
It’s a free tool but you need to create an account to use their service. Sign up the Tynt Publisher Tools via: https://id.tynt.com/account/sign_up. It keeps track every copy activity on your website and automatically add a link to your content with every paste.
For example, I try to copy a piece of content in my About page then paste somewhere, it will add a link like this:
Our name is 4 Rapid Development, 4rapiddev.com is our technical community blog, we want to accumulate and share my experience to everyone. Some entries we wrote by ourself and others we learned and copied from Internet or our friends.

As you can see the Read more: http://4rapiddev.com/about/#ixzz1KFShfHn0, it’s the amazing thing. It be added automatically when I do a paste.
Using RSS Footer WordPress Plugin
If you’re a blogger and using WordPress, it’s really a good news for you. It will automatically add a line of content to the beginning or the end of all the articles in your feeds, for instance to display a link back to your blog.
Download the RSS Footer WordPress Plugin then active it and you’re done.
Happy content protection. All your comments are welcome.
