In Firefox, when you access certain site on internet which requires you to input user name and password at login page, after logon you will see a popup dialog displaying on the top left of Firefox.This popup allows you to remember the input password. If you click on “Remember Password”, the next time you access again this site, you do not need to input user name and password.

On beautiful day 🙂 for certain reason, you have to surf internet on your friend’s computer or public computer, at that time you want to access the site which you usually do on your computer ,however you do not remember the account.Just because your account is stored by Firefox, so you do not keep it in your mind. So how can you recovery it?
Now, I would like to introduce to your two ways of getting saved password.One is supported by Firefox, the other is used PasswordFox from Nirsoft.
Personally warning : After reading this article, you will find that easy to get saved password.So I think you should not remember password when use Firefox in public computers.Just keep really unimportant passwords in this browser on your computer for security.
1. Following step by step in Firefox web browser
In the Firefox menu go to Tools, then Options
On the dialog “Option“, choose Security tab, then click on “Saved Passwords” button
On dialog “Saved Passwords”, click on “Show Passwords” to show hidden column “Password”
When confirm dialog displays, Click on “Yes” button to show hidden column “Password”
2. Using PasswordFox from Nirsoft
Download PasswordFox
After downloading, extract this file and run PasswordFox.exe, you will see the user names and passwords stored by Mozilla Firefox
